Writer and editor Scott Edelman worked for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics (including creating the Scarecrow for Marvel). His novel The Gift was nominated for the Lambda Award.

He was the editor of Science Fiction Age, which was published from 1992 until 2000. Since 2000, he has edited the Sci Fi Channel’s online magazine Science Fiction Weekly. He also edited SCI FI Magazine, Sci-Fi Universe, Sci-Fi Flix, Satellite Orbit, and the professional wrestling magazine Rampage.
